Always new ideas, surprising dishes, nice liquids to go with it, beautifully presented and packaged. Is worth every penny!

The timber frame is always a great place to go if you are looking for something special. The menu is not large, but still leaves nothing to be desired. Great staff and a balanced range of drinks rounds off the evening completely. We are always very happy to be guests here - and for all occasions.

I can only recommend the framework. Until now, the food has always tasted very good to me.

I was blown away. A cute, cozy half-timbered house over two floors. A great hygienic concept. So important in this day and age. Felt safe. The kitchen is a poem. Maybe not cheap but worth every euro. The service was also very attentive and friendly. A great evening that I will gladly repeat.

For years our absolute favorite restaurant in Soest. The menu changes every 2-3 months, but every time it delights with a seasonal combination of classic and modern dishes. There is also an extensive wine list and creative aperitifs. The service is very attentive. It's especially nice in summer when you can sit on the square in front of the town hall. We always love to come back!

We became aware of the timber framing through a recommendation from friends and are blown away. Starting with the ambience, it is very cozy about the service, friendly and good to the kitchen ...... mega. Very imaginative creations with always that certain something. Definitely recommendable!

Nice little restaurant in the old town of Soest. Delicious food with good quality, good value for money👍🏽

I came to the restaurant with family including two girls at the age of 9 and 12. We asked for a table and said we were sorry but we speak english only. At first young lady tried to stop us saying they do not have kids menu and handed us menu to check if there is anything interesting in there. We were still standing. No one offered us a table. Then old lady from behind the bar told her in german: "Tell them we don't understand". It didn't really make sense as young lady's english was quite good. So she quickly came up with the story they are just about to close and kitchen is closing. We left and I quickly checked they are open till midnight. It was 21.35 then. I just wonder what was prejudice based upon. What really made me upset old lady changed her attitude quickly after hearing us speaking polish to each other. Hmm, how is that kind of behaviour called? Old habits?This happened to me first time after many years travelling all over the world.

Food ok, but very high price w/o sufficient value.

Was here two times during my visit I soest. The first time we had the pork which was awesome and some of the best I have tasted. The second time I had the Rumpsteak. This was good but not nearly as good as the pork and when I had such a good first meal it was a little disappointing. From the five places I have visited in soest this is definitely the best. Also if you love gin they have plenty to choose from.

I like to eat a lot and I get around a lot and not only know the NRW kitchen. Here I have had the best meal so far with very nice and attentive staff. As a starter there is white bread with a crispy edge with a light honey mustard cream, which is cloud-soft with a wonderful aroma. Because of incompatibility there was also oil and salt, pepper - no, not in the shaker, but roughly for grinding - pure quality! The oil - a poem! Light, soft in taste - very good quality! Then there was duck with orange soy sauce pak choi and venere rice. Pak Choi is a type of cabbage that, like cabbage rolls, tasted fantastic. I don't eat rice - I almost ate the Venere rice! Duck was very, very good and the sauce is addicting! The second dish was created at our request because of incompatibilities: Beef fillet steak with baked potatoes In a nutshell, the meat was tender and the potatoes finally, as you would make them at home and unfortunately often not that tasty outside! Conclusion: tomorrow noon after the training should be departure! Tomorrow evening we have to repeat here! We are glad that the reservation was still possible because: understandably full!
